This exam validates foundational knowledge of cloud concepts in general and Microsoft Azure in particular. It is intended for technology professionals beginning an Azure career path who can describe Azure architectural components, core services such as compute, networking, and storage, and features and tools used to secure, govern, and administer Azure. Candidates should have experience in an IT area such as infrastructure management, database management, or software development.
